The following notes apply when the reservation is made direct through the reservation centre. General notes on pricing, liability, etc apply to the whole reservation site.

Pricing:

Prices shown when selecting a accommodation or travel option are usually the normal retail price and will not reflect any special rates or prices that could by available to you until you submit you reservation request.

These prices or rates are for guidance only and will be in the currency of the country you will be travelling in. They are subject to change without notice.

Prices contained within this Information Reservation System are for guidance only and subject to confirmation.

Hotel rates contained within this Information Reservation System are based on the respective Hotel's rack rate. Hotel's do have from time to time, special rates and these will be advised on a confirmed reservation or hotel availability.

You will be advised the correct prices including any specials, when your reservation/s have been confirmed to you by the respective Accommodation/Travel Provider or by one of our Reservation Co-ordinators.

Upon confirmation of your reservation/s, you will be advised if the final price will or won't include any local taxes of the country your are travelling in .

If a special price is confirmed to you, there will usually be special conditions that apply for that rate. Unless otherwise advised, ask your Reservation Co-ordinator for details concerning these.

All reservations are processed either by the tourism operator concerned or by a Reservation Co-Ordinator in our Reservation Support Centre. If you have any questions or require some assistance, your Reservation Co-Ordinator is there to help you.

Please note - due to international time zones, you may not get a immediate response, but it is the policy of this Information Reservation System to have responses and confirmations within a 12-24 hour period from being received except for any public holidays.

Payment and Reservation Guarantee:

a.  Accommodation -

All reservations are confirmed either as a 'Prepayment' or 'Client to Pay' on check out.

If a reservation has been confirmed on a 'Client to Pay' basis, a Credit card is required to guarantee a reservation. Failure to provide a guarantee, may result in the reservation being cancelled by the respective Accommodation/Travel Provider.

To obtain a special price, 'Prepayment' made by required and payment can be made by a credit/checking card.

b.  Coach, Ferry,  Rail and Air Travel -

Payment is required prior to travel on any coach, bus, ferry or aircraft.

Depending on  the Travel Provider,  payment deadlines will be advised upon a reservation confirmation.

c.  Rental Car and Campervan hire -

All reservations are confirmed either as a 'Prepayment' or 'Hirer to Pay' on or before pick up date.

If a reservation has been confirmed on a 'Hirer to Pay' basis, a Credit card is required to guarantee a reservation. Failure to provide a guarantee, may result in the reservation being cancelled by the respective Rental Car/Campervan Provider.

To obtain a special price, 'Prepayment' made by required and payment can be made by a credit/checking card.

d.  Sightseeing, Attractions and Tour Packages -

All reservations are confirmed either as a 'Prepayment' or 'Client  to Pay' before on or before day of travel/departure..

If a reservation has been confirmed on a 'Client to Pay' basis, a Credit card is required to guarantee a reservation. Failure to provide a guarantee, may result in the reservation being cancelled by the respective Sightseeing/Tour/Attractions Provider.

To obtain a special price, 'Prepayment' made by required and payment can be made by a credit/checking card.

If you do not have a credit/checking card, payments can be made by bank draft, telegraphic transfer or by a bank cheque. If payment is by these means, any travel documents will not be sent until such times payment has been cleared by our Bank.

Any credit/checking card number can be either fax - +64-4-917-9174, by email in 2 email messages or by our secure payment verification server.

Travel Documents:

If you had reservations processed through our Help Desk, our travel documents will be either sent by email or by post.

For an additional fee, your travel documents can be sent Courier, where your travel documents can be tracked.

Searching:

Use our Search Facility to find a location, accommodation or tourism Operator.

Our Reservation Partner's:

Travelink International has teamed with Hotel Reservations Worldwide, World Choice Travel and Viators to provide online hotel, rental car, sightseeing and tours reservations.

Reservation, Cancellation, 'No Show', Amendment Policy:

a. A Reservation Processing Fee of NZ$10.00 per sector, per person, will apply to all 'Advance Purchase' domestic flights within New Zealand, if any reservation request is processed by our Help Desk.

b. A Cancellation Fee of 10% will apply once any voucher/ticket has been issued and payment has been collected. There may be additional 'Cancellation Fees' imposed by the respective Accommodation/Travel Provider on any cancellation of any reservation if your reservation and payment has been processed through our Help Desk.

c.  An amendment to any Reservation of NZ$25.00 will apply once any voucher/ticket has been issued and payment has been collected. There may be additional 'Amendment Fees' imposed by the respective Accommodation/Travel Provider on any reservation change if you reservation has been processed through our Help Desk.

d.  A 'No Show' Fee of 10% of the confirmed price will be charged, if you do not show up to any accommodation/travel Provider or have not cancelled any reservation within the time as specified by the respective Accommodation/Travel Provider. If your accommodition reservation has been made on a "Guest to Pay" as a form of  payment, if you do not show up, a NZ$10.00 cancellation will apply per hotel/per location, if your reservation and payment has been processed through our Help Desk. This does not apply if booked via one of our partner's online reservation system.

e.  If your accommodation/travel reservation has been processed directly with a Tourism Provider via the Travelink International Information Reservation System, your acceptance of the reservation through a payment guarantee, means that your are accepting that Tourism Provider's Booking/Change/Cancellation/Refund policies or conditions and you may be charge a change/cancellation/refund penalty in the event of a 'No Show' or cancellation penalty or charges. Please check the respective Tourism Provider's Booking/Change/ Cancellation/Refund policies or conditions at the time of booking with the Tourism Provider.

f.  If your accommodation/travel reservation has been processed as 'Prepayment' and where 'Prepayment' or 'Prepaid' has been endorsed on any confirmation or confirmation voucher, you have accepted this Information Reservation System's Booking/Change/Cancellation/Refund policies or conditions and you may be charge a change/cancellation/refund penalty in the event of a 'No Show' or cancellation penalty or charges.

g.  If your accommodation/travel reservation has been confirmed as 'Prepayment'  or 'Prepaid' and where payment has been taken from a credit/checking card, any attempt to deny the charge for any service that has been provided or taken, will be deemed to a fraudlent act and will be delt with according.

h. All refunds will be processed back to your credit/checking card that was used to make the original payment.

Responsibilities:

All Tourism Providers on this Information Reservation System, who provide the various services, are to be true and correct and the Owner and/or licenced Operator of this Information Reservation System shall not be liable to any person for and are hereby released from any liability for any error, misrepresentation or other inaccuracy contained within this Information Reservation System, unless it is proved that such error, misrepresentation or other inaccuracy was due to the negligence of the Owner and/or licenced Operator of this Information Reservation System.

The Owner and/or licenced Operator of this Information Reservation System, can not be held liable for any error, misrepresentation or other inaccuracy in any reservation, booking, payments to or by the Tourism Provider concerned, unless it is proved that such error, misrepresentation or other inaccuracy was due to the negligence of the Owner and/or licenced Operator of this Information Reservation System. The Purchaser agrees that his/her sole recourse in any circumstances shall be with the Tourism Provider of the service concerned.

The Owner and/or licenced Operator of this Information Reservation System, makes no representation or warranty to standard of service and shall not be liable to any person for the non provision or standard of any service provide by the Tourism Provider contained within this Information Reservation System and the Purchaser agrees that his/her sole recourse in any circumstances shall be with the Provider of the service concerned.

Disputes:

All reservation and payment transactions are subject to the laws of New Zealand and any disputes arising will be litigated only in the appropriate New Zealand Court of Law.
